The boutique country from South America, URUGUAY, was present in one of the most important international wine competitions: Korea Wine Challenge 2009 where 784 premium wines from 15 countries were the participants. Uruguay won three medals with Tannat and blends of Tannat. The 100% Tannat awarded was our Gimenez Mendez Tannat Alta Reserva 2007. This is a very important prize for our family, because this award confirms our quality is approved around the world. We would like to give thanks our Ambassador Mr. Nelson Chabén who always is working hard to promote Tannat wines from Uruguay in Korea.
